Student Climate Strike Event Tomorrow , Friday May 3, Noon outside Vic Hall in Cobourg

I’m sure many of you have heard about Greta Thunberg the Swedish 16 year old Climate Change Activist. She has been speaking on behalf of the world’s youth to call the adult leaders to account because of their unacceptable disregard for their future due to ignoring most measures suggested by the International Panel on Climate Change.

So the students around the world have gone ‘on strike’ on Fridays, leaving their schools, to march as a call to action for their political leaders to make the decisions necessary to mitigate Climate Change or Climate Imbalance caused by the excessive Greenhouse Gases emitted by the use of Fossil Fuels.

If you are concerned about the lack of movement by political leaders to address this, then you are invited to join many others Friday May 3, at noon in Cobourg or at 3:30 at the Bandshell in Port Hope!

Every little bit helps to show solidarity in dealing with the crisis of Climate Change!
