Sustainable Cobourg invites you to The Market Building in Cobourg to hear passionate speakers from ‘The Cottage Gardener’ talk about open-pollinated seeds and their importance for food security. This is the fifth in the 2016 Speaker Series.

Other groups participating in a mini-market of ideas include, The Urban Garden, Cycle Transitions, The Cobourg Community Garden Group, Community Power Northumberland, ‘Grow The Greenbelt’, and more! Ask questions, try free samples, buy a t-shirt, some organic seeds or a gardening book (some signed by Frankie Flowers).

Date and time:
Saturday, October 22, 4:00 p.m.

Location:
The Market Building
201 Second Street, Cobourg (same location as the Cobourg Farmers Market)

Admission is free. Donations are appreciated.

Following this interactive portion, Sustainable Cobourg will hold its Annual General Meeting. In addition to information and memberships, we will fill you in on what we’ve been up to and what we need to continue working on. We also have two board positions available: Secretary and Treasurer. Click here for a description of each. Only members are entitled to vote, so why not become a member!

We look forward to seeing you on the 22nd!
