The Future of Northumberland County – Greenbelt Expansion

Sustainable Cobourg invites you to come and join us on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, for an evening that will help you to visualize the future of Northumberland County.

The provincial review for the Greenbelt expansion, led by David Crombie, will be due for amendments by late March.

“How will this impact us? Why is it important? Should we get involved? Do we want to give support? What does it mean for the future of Northumberland?” These are some of the questions we hope will be answered.

Meet some of those involved in the ‘Bluebelt/Growing the Greenbelt’ campaign. Watch a couple of films with Mark Stabb, Ontario’s Program Director for Nature Conservancy of Canada. Join the discussion with the panel. Get information and make connections.

This event is free. Doors open at ‘The Loft’ (201 Division Street, 2nd floor, Cobourg) at 7:00 p.m. with the event starting at 7:30 p.m. Hope to see you there!
