3rd Annual Bike for the Planet, Saturday May 28th, 2011

On Saturday May, 28 the annual Bike For the Planet will be held in Cobourg as the kick-off event to Cobourg’s first official Bike Week. This Saturday event, a 12km bike ride through town (Click here to see map) will make stops to hear speakers at the new Community Centre as well as the Via Rail station. It will take in the improvements that the town has made to cycling infrastructure over the past year.

The event is well-suited for people of all ages and is an ideal family activity. The ride is FREE. There will be cool T-shirts for sale on the day of the event as well. (Black, long-sleeve cotton, $15 each)
